THE PROBLEM
Having been around for over a century, Dracula has seen many forms. The goal was to create a new cover that was modern and would entice readers that may not pick up a “classics” book.
MY ROLE
Designer
Over a century ago, Bram Stoker created a vision of vampires that would influence the future of all stories told regarding the fictional creatures. It wouldn’t be until the movie adaptions, though, that would make Dracula famous. Those looking to pick-up this classic novel are typically doing so in order to read where the legend came from.
The final product combined multi-media images, clean typography, and poignant quotes in order to convey the heart of the story while still enticing readers who may not wish to pick up a “classic” book.
